Sun City MacDonald Ranch in Henderson, Nevada is Del Webb's second active adult community in the Las Vegas area. Nestled at the base of the Black Mountains adjacent to the I-215 Beltway, Sun City MacDonald Ranch is conveniently located just minutes from the sites and sounds of the Strip and downtown Las Vegas.

Sun City MacDonald Ranch has 2,513 single-family homes and villas spread across 564 acres, making it the third largest of the Sun City communities in Las Vegas. It is more intimate than the larger Sun City Anthem and Sun City Summerlin communities, but the cozier feel and ideal location is precisely what residents of Sun City MacDonald Ranch cherish most about their community. It sits at an elevation of 2,100 to 2,400 feet where it enjoys magnificent views of the valley and surrounding mountains. The community was constructed between 1996 and 2001 and now offers an exciting mix of single-family homes and villas.

Amenities

Del Webb's Sun City MacDonald Ranch is smaller than some of the larger Sun City communities in Las Vegas, but there is certainly no shortage of amenities. At the heart of the community is the Desert Willow Clubhouse which is a 36,000 square-foot facility loaded with an enviable array of amenities. The clubhouse includes a fitness center, aerobics and dance studio, grand ballroom with a stage, several meeting rooms, a billiards room and a library. There are also several hobby and craft studios such as a sewing and quilting studio, an arts and crafts center, a ceramics studio and a multi-purpose studio.

Outside Sun City MacDonald Ranch's clubhouse there is an outdoor lap pool and spa, four bocce ball courts and three lighted tennis courts. For walkers and bikers there are over nine miles of trails that wind through Sun City and the surrounding MacDonald Ranch master-planned community.

Sun City MacDonald Ranch is home to the Desert Willow Golf Course owned by the residents of the community. This signature Billy Casper and Greg Nash designed course is carved into the foothills and offers some of the most splendid views of the Las Vegas Valley. The 3,800-yard, par-60 course is one of the most challenging executive courses in southern Nevada. It presents a challenge for players of all skill levels and can be played in a refreshing three-and-a-half hours. After a round of golf, Sun City MacDonald Ranch's Willow Restaurant provides the perfect place to gather with friends for some drinks. The restaurant offers casual breakfast, lunch and dinner menus.
